- Adler Planetarium: Wednesdays 4-10 p.m. (Dec. 11, 18)
- American Writers Museum: 3rd Sunday of the month (Dec. 15)
- Art Institute of Chicago Dec. 6, 9, 13 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. as well as Dec. 12 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Chicago Botanic Garden: Dec. 9-15
- Brookfield Zoo: Mondays and Tuesdays (Dec. 9-10, 16-17, 23-24, 30)
- Museum of Contemporary Art: Tuesdays (Dec. 10, 17, 24, 31)
- Chicago History Museum: Dec. 18
- DuSable Museum of African American History: Wednesdays (Dec. 11, 18)
- Garfield Park Conservatory: Always free for Chicago residents
- The Field Museum: Dec. 11, 18
- Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center: Dec. 27
- Lincoln Park Zoo: Always free
- National Museum of Mexican Art: Always free
- Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum: Thursdays (Dec. 12, 19, 26)
- National Museum of Puerto Rican Arts and Culture: Always free
- Shedd Aquarium: Dec. 10 and 17 from 5-9 p.m.
